Thursday, May 23rd -                        GRADUATION SERVICE – 7:00

                                                        All students are expected to attend this service.  We will celebrate the graduation of our Kindergarten and 8th grade classes.  A short concert will also be presented commemorating Jesus as our Good Shepherd.  Students should be dressed up in church clothes with no jeans or tennis shoes. Thank you.

 

Friday, May 24th -                  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – STUDENTS DISMISSED AT NOON!

SCHOOL PICNIC BEGINS at 11:00 – Everyone is invited to attend this picnic.  There is no cost.  Meat & beverages will be provided by the school lunch program.  We do ask that anyone coming please bring a dish to pass. (salads, desserts, chips, etc.)   The food will be set up in the parish hall and we will eat outside. (weather permitting)

PICNIC HELPERS: We have a yearly rotation for this.  This year the parents of students in grades 3 & 4 are asked to help set up and serve the meal. (Please arrive around 10:30.)  The parents of students in grades 5 & 6 are asked to help serve as the clean up crew after the picnic.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

 

Wednesday, May 29th -        Parent-Teacher Conferences – 3:00-7:00

                                            These meetings are held to hand out report cards, discuss the results of the standardized testing done this spring (grades 3-8), and discuss the overall progress of your child throughout this school year. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO STOP IN DURING THESE TIMES, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER TO MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.  Thank you.

Conservation & Environmental Awareness Poster Contest –

          Congratulations to the following students on finishing in the top three in their division.  Peace had winners in 10 of the 12 spots available.  The first place winners will go on to the regional competition. Great work everyone!

Celest King Poetry Contest

          The students in grades 3 through 8 also competed in the Annual Celest King Poetry Contest.  The top three finishers are listed below.  These winners were chosen from just the poems entered by students at Peace.  Again, nice work everyone.

Green Lake Soccer Camp

          Each year, a soccer camp is held in Green Lake sponsored by the Back of the Net Soccer Academy.  It is open to all students at Peace.  This year it will be held from June 24th to the 27th.  Anyone interested please talk to Mr. Stoltz.  He has registration forms that you can send in.
